new vaquero front sight

I purchased a new vaquero in January of this year. I was at the range today and I noticed that the front sight was not straight. Once I was home I noticed it was loose and as I examined it more it actually came off in my hand. I will be calling Roger Monday and I feel this is a warranty issue. I was wondering if anyone else out there has had this happen and if this is a common issue? Thanks in advance..Goose

Wow, that bites. Ruger will fix it for you, but still. As for whether it's common, I guess others will need to chime in on that.

I'm sure a polite call will get you a pre-paid shipper & it'll get fixed easily & promptly.

Not the first one I've heard coming off though - hope my new one stays on.
