Should have been in here long time ago. Have enjoyed reading forums for several years. Have owned a P97 since 2003. Looking for accessories, possibly a laser, so far have been unable to find one. I love my P97 and get grief all the time from guys I work with who spend large sums of money on Sig and Kimber. My Baby (P97) is a tank, she is reliable, accurate and fires every time.

Amen to the tank part. I no longer have my 97, but when I did I really enjoyed it. Cant help on the laser, although I do have one that will clamp to the trigger guard (JUNK). I havent seen one for the 97. Welcome to the forum. If theres one out there someone on here will have seen it and let you know.

Its hard for people to accept that a 300 pistol will do everything that their 1000 pistol will. Its like the guy in his 200k Ferrari that cant blow the doors of a 70k Vette. Enjoy the P97 there are many fans of it here!

SCE_Razor, welcome to the Ruger Forum. Until an injury about a year ago I carried a P97 every day. Still carry it on good days. I'm a bit old fashioned about keeping a self defense gun simple so I like mine just the way it is. :)

I like the 97's so well I have 2 of them. One with the original sights and one with the fiber-optic front sight. The 97's are very good pistols. Welcome to the Board.

I bought my P97 about the same time you bought yours. I have fired a bunch of factory hardball and many many more of my own lead SWC and lead rn. Mine has never had an FTanything and shoots tighter groups than my National Match (which is a little embarassing). Whats not to love?

Thanks fellow Ruger enthusiasts for checking in. I'll be honest P90 I had to Google Panama, Oklahoma....lol. I have lived in Oklahoma for almost 13 years and never heard until today. I'm with you btrumanj I carry mine everyday and believe all law abiding citizens should carry concealed.
