Just bought a spare barrel(or transplant material). Seller said it has very few shots and is in like new condition.
Don't see those just everywhere.
Bought the lower 1/2 of a 22/45 on here last week and have that project completed. Been waiting to find a suitable recipient for a new 5 1/2" bull upper 1/2 for a couple of years now. Project is a success with an added red dot sight. Been having occassional performance issues(it happens when you get old) and thought my coordination might be failing. Seems it's visual and the electronic sight has solved the problem for now anyway.
Even managed to get the Grouch Attack to shoot with the red dot. She did exceptionally well-was able to hit a 2" swinger easily and a 1" occassionally @ 50' with a tripod support. DIL is going to have a turn today. She hasn't done well with a handgun due to problems with sight alignment-especially side to side.
