I had an itch for a new CCW gun since I felt that my LCP was a bit small, and I discovered the SR9C a couple weeks back on the internet. I happened to see an ad in the paper for Gander Mountain and they had them on sale for $399 so I figured I better go look since I was saving up for a P2000SK and was already over $400.
I handled it and LOVED it. Feels great in the hand, ambi controls (I'm a lefty), and a relatively thin feel compared to my previous CCW XD-SC. The wife said OK, so I pulled the trigger and took it home. Put 200 through it the next day, and it is excellent. No problems at all with Rem UMC, and ultra accurate. I think I may be better with it than my HK since the 9mm really has a lot less snap to it than the .40. I could put 5 on target just as quick with this gun as my fullsize HK.
So far it is a win in my book, and I will start carrying it as soon as I get some SD ammo. So where can I get Federal HST these days?
