We'll I have had the Ruger Catalog in my bathroom for over 6 months now. I owned a Mark III but just purchased a 1960 S&W Model 41. It is so sweet that I traded the Mark III off for a new SR40c. I already own the SR9c and Love it so much and looking through the Ruger Catalog I could not resist getting the SR40c. It was between the LC9 or the SR40c. The LC9 felt good in my hands, the trigger pull was also OK but I already have the SR9c so I decided on the different caliber. Man it was hard passing on the LC9, that will be my next purchase. Kind of bummed, thought I had some .40 cal ammo at home. Nope it was 44 mag. So the range will have to wait till I get some.
Sorry for the rambling, just stoked!

Thanks Robby, you may remember, I had trigger reset problems with my SR9c. After the great help of Eric Galloway and adjusting the trigger return Bar ( Ghost Rocket) the SR9c has an incredible trigger. I believe I will leave the SR40c stock. I am still waiting for the LCI Plug for the SR9c.
You and Rev commented quite a bit on the trigger Bar.
Thank you very much for the congratulations it has made me happy and the trigger reset on the SR40c is perfact, no problems at all. Just got to get some ammo.

I have been thinking about the sr40c or glock 23. Cant make up my mind. I have the LC9 and love it.

Congrats on the purchase, I love my SR40C, I have a few improvements on the way for it from Galloway Precision. Then a set of tritiums are in the not too far future for me. Enjoy the new gun, they shoot awesome.

You will love the Galloway parts. I have several in fact I have all of them available for the SR9c. They made for an excellent trigger. Smooth and crisp.

I traded my Taurus 740 Slim plus cash for a new Ruger SR40c this past Tuesday. I've fired 250 rounds through it so far with no problem at all. I tried the pinky extension that came with it but actually prefer it with the flat magazine bottom. The recoil is reasonable with little muzzle flip and it's more easily concealed without the extension. I don't know about the 15 round magazine, it makes the pistol somewhat cumbersome and wouldn't work well concealed. The trigger on this gun is better than the my SR9 when I got the 9mm. Not as good as the SR9 is now with it's Ghost Rocket but not too bad. I might do a Ghost Rocket in this pistol later on. Fine little gun, no feed problems with a variety of ammo and it's neat about tossing shells most of them land in a fairly small area. Not like my LCP which can toss empties for yards in just about every direction.

Congrats to the two of you with new SR family members! :D

I too love my 40c

Shoot straight and safe.....

I have the polished SS guide rod, polished striker indicator, and their trigger kit with the ghost rocket on the way. I have the Dremel set to polish all off the trigger parts also. Can't wait to feel the new trigger on this gun.

I'm not sure why but I don't shoot this gun quite as well as I did my Taurus 740 Slim. Too bad I had problems with that one. I'm pretty sure it's the trigger just got to get used to it or put in a Ghost Rocket as I did my SR9. The pistol that shoots the best for me is a Ruger P345k, fits my hand perfectly and the trigger in SA is about the best off the shelf pistol I've ever shot. I own two striker fired pistols but still like the SA/DA of a hammer operated gun best.
