New SR1911 arrived

I could not wait any longer for the supply to catch up to the demand. My new SR1911 arrived tonight. What a great looking gun. I have disassembled and cleaned and functioned checked it so its ready to go to the range tomorrow to see how it shoots. Color me all smiles.

Got to the range today and put this first 100 rounds through the SR1911. She is a keeper. What a fun gun to shoot and throws nice groups for this old man. I am maybe not up to target class yet but the bad guys better look out. My other 1911 is a citadel and this Ruger is way more fun to shoot. Really happy I spent the extra bucks and got one now instead of waiting and wanting. Much more fun to "have one"

Bee, yep - I've said many times they are worth far more than some around here think they are. I really enjoy mine!

I live in Florida and had one shipped from Idaho !!

I live in Central Maine do not know where Davidisons is located but mine was order on Sat before Thanksgiving, and it arrived following Tues and I picked it up on Thurs then took it to the range on Saturday.
I think I should have bought a Lottery ticket too.
