New SP101

I recently bought my first Ruger double action revolver, an SP101 in .327 federal magnum. Looking forward to spending time with this revolver. Glad I didn't get a LCR in .327. I bet they are really tough to shoot. I'm wanting to try some .32 H&R mag too. Looking into reloading the .327 brass with something a little less 357ish.

The SP101 is a great choice and one I still carry at times. I love the feel, balance and that it has some solid feeling and weight in the hand. Any .38 Special of whatever flavor you prefer works wonderful and so do the short barrel loads for .357 Magnum, without brutal recoil.

I have Sp's in 357 and 327 fed . As Wendy says they are a nice "feel" in your hands as far as grip.

I really like the 3 inch size barrel. Especially with this gun, the balance just seems to feel right.. Very nice gun....

I like the Hogue rubber monogrip on my SP101 2.25" 357. Stock grip is too small for my hand to get a good grip.

What do you mean? 357, or any of the others aren't very quiet...
