New SP101 grips

I just received some new grips for my SP101. I am a sucker for stag grips. They were made by Sack Peterson.

I really like those! The medallions look great...smaller than the standard 1/2" ones I'm guessing? I've been thinking about getting some stag ones. Does he makes them from Elk antler instead of Sambar Stag?

Yes they are Elk. I would contact him to see if he does work with Sambar stag. I use Sambar on my knives. It is nice and dense with very little pith in the center.
