Single-Sixer
I'm open for suggestions here. A year ago or so I purchased a Springer R.O. , its a great weapon. Lately though , as my eyes get older , I'm having trouble picking up the front sight ... as in black on black situations. As long as I'm shooting a light colored target or white painted steel ...its fine. Been thinking about different sights ( no red dots ), perhaps a front tritrium dot on or in the blade ? Would kinda like the rear adjustable to stay. I put a green fiber optic blade on my GP-100 ....what a difference. Not sure I want a fiber optic on my 1911 though. Anyone else have this problem or suggestions ? Oh and I can't afford to have the slide machined ...so I have to stick with something that will fit. Thanks
