New Ruger 1911

This is my Ruger 1911LW CMD in 9mm. I have owned it about a month now and have just under 200 rnds put through the pipe. It has functioned flawlessly with my 125 gr handloads, Winchester steel case, Federal 115gr alum case, Federal 115gr brass, and Remy 115 gr jhp.

Glad to hear it runs well. Now if only Ruger would shorten that handle a smidge....

Looks nice. I have one coming via UPS in .45ACP. I have always admired the 1911 on looks alone, now I will have one to see how it shoots. 8)

I don't know why the Red pads shoe up as pink in a photo. But they are red.

I was refering to the Federal 115 brass cased fmj ammo that Wally world sells.

Glad you like your new gun, it's a keeper!

I can see myself putting down that knife and not finding it again. One time I dropped a camo arrow from a tree stand it took me a half hour to find it.

I keep sniffing this pistol. They look nice. The pink pads on the magazines are interesting.
