2 years ago I bought a NIB Colt 1911 100th Anniversary model, thinking it was a reasonable investment. A few days ago I began thinking that I probably won't live long enough to realize a profit from it. So I decided to reclassify it as a shooter, and yesterday set out a target in 40* weather and ran 2 full factory MecGar mags (7rnds per mag) that were included in the box. Ammo: Federal 230grn FMJ. Target at 7yds.
The gun performed perfectly. :)
