I was able to pick up a couple of grips for my Redhawk. I wanted some nice wood target style grips. I have a set of Eagle target style grips I bought many years ago. They have some scroll work on them but I wanted some smooth grips. I contacted Eagle grips about a year ago asking if they would make a smooth target style grip. They said they did in the past and to keep checking their sight for availability. I'd check their site and other grip makers as well as the auction sites. Recently I was checking the auction sites when I got lucky. I was able to get two sets of grips from two different sites.

The first shown below is a set of Eagle grips. Came with the box and papers. Way back when they cost $15 according to a price sticker. These grips remind me of old style S&W grips. They have a swelling in the middle that really fills the hand.

The no name set below came to me with finger grooves. I put them on the Redhawk and no matter how I positioned my hand it just didn't feel right. So, I broke out the files and sandpaper and took the grooves off. I stained the grips then put a light coat of semi-gloss polyurethane. They are thinner than the Eagles yet are very comfortable. I think these grips will be my go to grips.
