I put the word out that I was looking for a Vaquero. I was contacted by a fellow who had one for sale. I picked it up from him last night and I am very happy with it. It is a stainless .45 colt, UNFIRED, made in 2003(old model). The price I paid would be in line with a used one in pretty good condition. Sometimes even a blind hog can find an acorn.

Congrats on getting a fine gun! Those original Vaqueros can handle the "Ruger Only" loads, so go & enjoy it all you want!

I have one on hold at LGS. Made in 1993 with 7.5" barrel. I was surprised how well balanced it is. Congrats on yours, just a start, keep looking for more.

EYEMAN, good catch. What barrel length? I've got a couple of the Vaqueros in 45 Colt. They are nice. There are a lot of different variations for sure.
