New model single six question

Last year I went to a gun show and found a new model single six with rosewood grips and POLISHED stainless finish and the cowboy blade sights, SWEET. This thing is absolutely beautiful! I have never seen one like it offered on the Ruger site and don't even know it I could order another one if I wanted to. Any ideas about this?

They've got laminate stocks, but the nice thing (in my mind) is the "Warning" rollmark is under the barrel, next to the ejector rod housing. Looks a lot nicer...

I've bought some of these from RugerForum member "acrylictnk" in the past, at a VERY nice price. If you contact him, I bet he could get you hooked up.

There have been other runs of very similar guns in the past. I'll let the true "collectors" answer questions about that. I'm just an "accumulator..." 8)
