New GP100

Just purchased a new GP100. It is a pleasure to shoot. Experimenting with different hand loads for it. Anyone have a favorite? Wish the GP100 IBOK from iowegin was still available.

My standard is 158 gr. Hornady XTP over 14 gr. 2400 . That load shoots just super in all my Ruger .357's. I have 5 GP's and a dozen or so single actions that all shoot that load great.

My 4" loves 180 grain cast bullets.

My 6" SS GP-100 shoots extremely well with loads from 148 grain WC's over small charges of Bullseye, up to 158 HP or JSP over a max charge of H110.

I like shooting 158gr copper plated bullets about 10% below max using Accurate #9 or Blue Dot and loads about 20% below max using Universal or HP-38. These won't beat you up.
