A new model single six?
Craig, Even thought Ruger made 500 each, 4 5/8, 5 1/2, 6 1/2 in. bl. New Model Single-Sixes sometime in the 80s. If the Single-Six you are talking about has adjustible sights, I think you meant to say a "New Model Super Single-Six". Even though the frame has New Model "Single-Six" stamped on it, it's still a New Model "Super" Single-Six. Any way we all know "What You Mean!" :roll:CraigC said:Yep.Hondo44 said:Craig,

No smart guy, I meant what I said. A "dovetail rear sight Single Six".....New Model. So yes, that would make it one of 500 of each length made for Davidson's in the `80's. This one being a 4 5/8" model. It was an attempt to reproduce what Ruger should have done with the 50th anniversary model. Yes, I know what the "Super" denotes but thanks for the sharp eye and sharper tongue. I know what YOU mean. :roll:street said:Craig, Even though Ruger made 500 each, 4 5/8, 5 1/2, 6 1/2 in. bl. (fixed your spelling errors in the spirit of hair splittin')
Hondo44 said:Yes they will w/o any mods. The FT grip frame has the internal lock so you will need to use the hammer spring and lock that came with the FT grip frame. Or you can use a homemade lock replacement bracket.
