Yes, and I have said it for decades...until my friend got me hooked on the Bisley Vaqueros. Although, I prefer this one gun to even them.

Mine is always on my side now except on the rare occasion that I'm going to one of the "big" cities. It's the perfect SA for me as an EDC. Ever since my first Vaquero I've wanted Ruger to make a shorter barreled stainless in .45 ACP. I didn't think I'd like the birdshead grip but now I couldn't go back to a plow handle for everyday carry. For me, it carries more comfortably than the 1911 for work and play.
