New Bearcat trigger concern

First off, I'm no trigger-snob. However, I got one of the Lipsey's with sights today. The trigger is downright heavy, and c r e e p y, LOL. Any guidance you may have is appreciated.

OH, and who-if any-makes a decent trigger shoe to cover that wire rod trigger?

Any good gunsmith who knows SA handguns, can easily smooth up the action in a Bearcat.

Never seen a trigger shoe for the Bearcat. The Bearcat concept is to be a small pocket type SA. And for most folks,, not enough finger room in the trigger guard already.

Agreed. Take it to a gunsmith. Perhaps you have one with a problem. I have a few Bearcats and checked the trigger on a very old one and my sighted model and feel very little difference.

If you just got it (yesterday, now), I would call Lipsey's immediately and seek their
input on your proper action. To me, they should make it right with NO problem on
shipping (both ways) or additional cost for the repairs.

If you had been able to go hands on with it before you took it home, then the gun
smith would be the proper thing for you to do.

Let me save you some time....

Distributor... Distributes.

Manufacturers will fix Manufacture Defects, This does happen at Ruger, and they are good to stand behind their product.

If it’s within 2 years of manufacture they will ship it both ways on their dime. Over 2 years it’s on you.
NOTE; This is somewhat subject to the particular customer service representative and the customers attitude, Govern yourself accordingly. :wink:

LOL, yes...you're right. I know it's on Ruger, as I've already bought the thing at-retail.
Lipsey's is not quite like Davidson's.
