Ordered a new base pin for my New Model Blackhawk, I installed it the other day. Its about 1/4 longer then my old one was, took it out to the range Sunday, and my extracter rod wont completely eject the cartridges, I have to manually remove them from the cylinder.

Any thoughts?

Thanks
Robert

Is this the 357 that the wife got for you?

Clean the cylinder realy good and when you go to empty it, tilt it upwards some and the empties should fall out the rest of the way.

When you load the revolver hold the muzzle down

When you go to empty the brass, the muzzle should be pointed up to allow gravity to help
