New barrel lengths

Was just wondering if anyone had seen one of the new Bearcats or GP-100s with the 4.20" barrel that will allow their import into Canada?

Wondering if the ejector rod housing on the 'cats stops .2" short of the end of the barrel.

Just curious.

Genious! It's a win-win situation. This provides Rugers to all those Canadian citizens who enjoy them, but keeps out those nasty dangerous 4" barrel guns that the Canadian Government fears.

Are those legal and or sold in Canada?

Lateck, from what I understand Canada outlawed handguns with 4" or less, so yep you can have a 5". I wonder how many revolvers are being sent back to Ruger and Smith to be rebarrelled with something longer.

Both have been out for some time now. Its a little rough telling the difference in the GP100. I carry a pen with me that's pre-marked with a piece of tape at 4" so I can take notes on the change at gun shows.
