New 480 Alaskans

I have a 454 alaskan and if I ever run across a 480 I will have both probably. I'm not real wise and frugal when I find something I want.

But even the brass is hard to come by.

Just went to check. Graf's has both Speer and Hornady brass in stock right now. The Speer brass is only $26.99 per hundred!

Where do you see it for $26.99, it comes up $32.99 for me!? And why does the Hornady brand cost nearly twice as much, is it that much better than the Speer?

Ah, I just assumed all gun people have a C&R so that they get dealer pricing on things like that!

$30 every three years. Best deal in the gun world. Even if you don't want to actually buy any C&R guns! (But who wouldn't?)
