I was moderately disappointed with Son's new 10-22 today. It was accurate enough although we were using the rifle to test a scope(rather than the normal-other way around). The difficulties involved the magazine and it's fit in the magwell. Mag removal requires locking the bolt open and sticking a pinky through the ejection port to push the mag out.
I finally went back in the house and brought out an Eagle banana mag just so we didn't have to mess around with the factory magaZine.
I did find the rail mounted peep rear sight worked quite well. Downside of that rear peep is it requires the scope to be mounted 3/8-1/2" higher than would otherwise be suitable.
