I was taking out the hammer and sear and this part fell out
I can’t find it in the exploded view in the manual. And can’t see
Any were it would go. This is in a MKlll hunter. This is a very small part.
Thanks for any help.

looks like the piece that goes in the safety...should be a small hole with a spring in it to put pressure on the safety when you are putting it on or off..
good luck...

Looks like the trigger spring plunger to me.

You may be correct also. Almost tempted to take mine apart for a looksee :)

But if you look at luv2shoot's picture...it is shorter and more of a rounded top...I just looked at a MK and it looks like it may be the plunger in the safety...I have been wrong before though :D

It's the safety plunger. Goes in the side of the thumb safety button, rides against the edge of the bean shaped hole in the grip frame. A spring is under it.

They are not shown or listed individually in the manual. The safety assembly is part 35 in the schematic, and tagged as "factory fit only". The safety plunger is part number KA02511, the safety plunger spring is KA20200. Prescott will sell those parts, at I think $2.00 each. I bought a set in case something ever went airborne.

Yes it was the safety plunger, and what a pain in the you know what I had a hard time keeping it in while putting it all back to gather.
