Snake45, I can only tell you my experience with BSA scopes was less then good.

I bought a pair of "factory remanufactured" BSA airgun scopes with AO, one a 3x-9x and the other a 2x-7x, and put them on .22 rifles and have been VERY happy with their performance for the VERY low prices I paid for them (@ $30 each IIRC).

Also have a BSA 3X and a BSA Red Dot bought new on other guns. Good optics for the low bucks but by no means great stuff.

I have this exact scope and you will LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. IMO, for the money this is the very best scope you can buy and it works like a charm. If you don't know what AO is (adjustable objective) - learn it. This scope is perfect for your 10/22 needs and the PRICE IS RIGHT!!

WP, is the power adjusting ring on yours very stiff? It is on mine and I thought it was "just one of those things" but have since heard from two or three others with that scope that it's very stiff on theirs, too.

It's a little annoying but nothing I can't live with, and I don't adjust the power all that often anyway. (The AO adjustment isn't stiff at all.) It wouldn't keep me from buying another one (although if I didn't know it was common, it might very well keep me from buying a used one).
