I don't know about you guys, but I really hate when someone posts a hunting picture (for example on facebook or something) and people start getting real hateful.
In this video a cat catches a small rabbit. But the rabbit get's away, and an owl get's the rabbit. Not pictured is the owl tearing up the small rabbit, the way nature works. Too many people think nature is more like a Bambi movie. It's NOT.

Poor cat, it lost its fast food! I actually like hunting pictures. Yes I saw Bambi when younger but food IS food. I have no use for those who are negative about hunting since most eat meat of some kind. At least the hunter does the dirty work himself.

Well, we cut em up, too...what was the problem again?

I have a hawk that seems to have made the street light in front of my house into his dining room. I usually have a daily show of his lunch. He favors mostly other birds, and there is usually a shower of feathers and bird parts raining down. I really don't have enough parking on my street. That means that I have to get out and clean a lot of body parts of of my car several times a week.

I recall story`s years ago when more women wore fur coats of people throwing ink on them.

‘So careful of the type?’ but no.
From scarped cliff and quarried stone
She cries, ‘A thousand types are gone:
I care for nothing, all shall go.

‘Thou makest thine appeal to me:
I bring to life, I bring to death:
The spirit does but mean the breath:
I know no more.’ And he, shall he,

Man, her last work, who seem’d so fair,
Such splendid purpose in his eyes,
Who roll’d the psalm to wintry skies,
Who built him fanes of fruitless prayer,

Who trusted God was love indeed
And love Creation’s final law–
Tho’ Nature, red in tooth and claw
With ravine, shriek’d against his creed–

These are the same people that want their steak rare, but have no idea how it became a steak.

Funniest thing was sitting in the house (up in Hagerstown, MD) and hearing this squealing sound now and then from outdoors; Finally went out to look and found that our young Beagle (Barclay Dog) had chased a young rabbit which couldn't quite fit through the next to the bottom opening in the wire fence. Barclay Dog wasn't biting it, but WOULD poke it with his nose causing the rabbit to squeal. I guess he found it entertaining because he'd wait a minute or two and then poke it again. I went over and made the opening bigger and the rabbit took off; Such a LOOK I got from Barclay for letting his entertainment escape.

Funny how they picked on the ladies with the fur coats, but not the bikers wearing leather.

Cool video!

During the winter I have a pair of Red Tailed Hawks as well as a Coopers Hawk or two. I have 2 big bird feeders in my back yard and a lot of seed falls to the ground. 2x's I saw the RT sweep in and grab a red Cardinal. That's just the way it goes. I hate Cowbirds! One took off from over the feeders to be snatched out of the air by a RT within 20 feet. That was nice! :)
