Over the years I've seen 4 different 7.5" OM 45's around here but until a few months ago I never knew that Ruger made any of them in 4 5/8" bbl. lengths. And this one will not letter. I just customized her a little. The gun I bought off Matt Oliver and the grip frame came from Bill Hamm. Rick Ruvo made the grips. I put a crescent ejector rod, steel cam cut ejector rod housing and a #5 base pin on it. With 452" Keith slugs it would lead like crazy so I measured the cylinder throats and they went 454" so I ordered from Midway a 454" sizer die and took care of the leading. It now shoots as well as it looks. She has just enough holster wear on it that I won't mind packing and shooting the crap out of it. Lord I do love these Old Models.
