The grips came from the parts box.. Something I picked up a while back. While not marked CLC, they were sold to me as CLC spalted maple...

I am not trying to solicit but I have two boxes of factory ammo for the max. Remington, the boxes aren't pretty but ammo is ok.

Looks like maybe a burl. Highly figured as well as spalted. Beautiful gun!

Forgot the factor that may be the the driver to not put a Bisley grip frame on it.. Fermin says it has an internal trigger stop.
Trigger job, patridge front, Bowen target rear, internal trigger stop, and you know that Alan Harton had to check the throats and forcing cone while he did all the other stuff.

Very nice. How does that front sight work on target acquisition? Or have you shot it yet?

Haven't shot it yet but.. Based on a past life as a bullseye shooter with a distinguished pistol shot badge, 2600 club, Chief's 50 badge, and a master classification, I can say that this is the sight configuration I prefer for shooting. There was a time when I expected to and did see the serrations cut in the front blade. 59 years and diabetes has an impact on that ability..
