I like flashlights and use them all, some more than others. I saw this one in a video where a car mechanic was using it and he said how much he likes it.

It's not cheap, and I don't like cheap flashlights, anyway. It was a whopping 10% off and I got a free single AAA keychain light that's pretty bright for its size at 90 lumens.

It's an Olight (my first) Arkfeld Pro. What's unique is it's rectangular so it'll never roll away. It has a UV light, a green laser that works by itself or with a light, and a 4 stage ultra white light. On the brightest setting it's 1,300 lumens.

I didn't need this, but I sure wanted it. It will get used. I liked the orange, red, and racing stripes which is what I bought. It has a glass lens, a must.

If you like unique flashlights, check it out.

This may be another unique light you’d enjoy.
Pocket Mate.
Lots of first responders I know carry them since they’re so small and lightweight.
Mine lives in the center console of my Silverado.

Interesting light.
Here are the kinds of flashlights I don't like:

The kind that I can't quickly turn off when someone is shooting at me.
The cylindrical ones that always end up on the floor.
The kind that take AAA batteries, AA are more bang for our buck.
The kind that do a half dozen different functions, all controlled by one pushbutton (too many special procedures to memorize).

I agree 100%....I've often wondered why every otherwise very-good flashlight that I look at does not have a simple off/on switch.

That’s a cool looking flashlight. Why do you say a glass lens is a must have?

And then how does it work? It looks like a push button but also a selector knob around the bottom that you can roatate? Is that right?

I too like flashlights and the last one I recently got is a ReLYbo that I found on Amazon. Has 2 buttons. One does the strobe and SOS, while the other button is a simple on/off. It uses a 5,000 mAh 26650 battery, but can also use a 18650 battery, and came with a 3-AAA cell holder to also use if wanted/needed. Has the usual slide in/out light beam focus and is IPX6 waterproof. Also, has a LED charge left window to monitor how much power is left before recharge or battery change. Almost forgot, the simple on/off switch also does a light dimming when held down if light is too bright for the need, but when switch turned off, it returns to the high brightness, unless you once again hold down the switch to rotate thru what light level you want, then release.

So far in past few months of use, it's been good and still on its first charge, but I have only used it for about 5 minutes usage each time for at least 5-7 days a week.

Forgot what lumens it is, but believe somewhere around 2,000 or so and can see when light is at the extreme focused beam, the top of our rural road and trees which are abit more than 1/4 mile away quite well.

I've had plastic flashlight lenses scratch and warp from the heat. The Fenix you bought has a glass lens. It's just better quality.

The mark to the left is UV and has its own light. The mark on the right is the flashlight beam and is adjustable by clicking the button. It also has its own separate light. The laser is centered near the top and it too is independent.

It's all explained in the link in the OP. You should get the orange one to match your CZ LOL

Olight is a quality entry level light. Back in my predator contest days Olight provided us some scan lights as samples and door prizes for our Annual contest weigh in/award ceremony. They were trying get a leg into the night hunting market back then. The scan lights were 600 lumen, simple on/off, red and white LED bulbs. They worked great. One had an issue that had to do with a circuit board or something. They replaced it fairly quick and the new one was great. I ended up buying a couple. A year or so later they got into the WML market. I have three mounted on pistols. Yeah yeah yeah it's made in China. Its a quality light. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another and trust it.

I bought the black version last year to fit in one of the 2 mag pouches of a shoulder holster. With 22 in the pistol & another mag on board holding 18, I dedicated the 2nd mag pouch for the light. None of my many 1" round lights would fit properly in the mag pouch so this flat Olight fits the bill perfectly.

I like flashlights too, and I find myself continually buying more.

On Thursday, I was loading my truck up in the dark for a hunt the following morning. I could not find my head-band flashlight. So, being who I am, I went to Amazon and bought 3 more, plus I bought a clip-on brim light. Right after I ordered these, I found the one I lost, hanging from the headrest in my pickup. Go figure.;)

I too like quality flashlights. I use all of them but a multi thousand lumen light that's too bulky for pocket carry.

I also have turned to headlamps, they keep both hands free and light up where you are looking. not sure I could find a working flashlight in my house anymore, but I keep like Blume one in each vehicle and a couple in the house. the usb charging is awesome

I won one of these at the company Christmas party last year. I have no idea how I ever made it this many years without one of these. During the dark season---now thru march, I bet I use this thing 5 nights a week simply just stepping outside for something or walking out to the hen house. Rechargeable, fairly long lasting, multiple modes from blinding to flood, plus the light comes out of the headband and is magnetic so you can stick it where it is needed and still be hands free.

@Cholo
I did in fact buy the orange one. I like it. I didn't know the other side is a black light. How cool! I use one from time to time. and the dogs go crazy for the green laser light. So funny.

One thing I do not like about the Olight is the magnetic charger. The other day I went for a walk with my wife at night. I took the flashlight along. Putting it in my pocket with my keys, every time I pulled out the flashlight, the keys were stuck to the magnet charging end of the light. I didn't care so much, but I didn't want to pull the keys out without realizing it and lose them by mistake.

Otherwise, it's a great flashlight.

Oh, and just FYI, you know if you lose the charger, you can buy generic Olight chargers on Amazon. They aren't very expensive.

Glad you like it! I wasn't crazy about the magnetic charger, but to put a USB-C port would have taken up battery space. It does keep it clean.

Thanks for the head's up on the generic chargers on Amazon!

Nowadays I prefer rechargeable batteries.

I prefer replaceable batteries. I can carry spare batteries, charging isn't always an option.

FWIW, I always know where a flashlight is. One hand by the basement stairs. On in the arm of my recliner. One in my nightstand. One in the dish cupboard. One on my Remington 870.

@Cholo , just wanted to update you. It's been a couple weeks and you have created a monster. My dog, Jelly loves the green laser pointer. Every time I go to use a flashlight, he thinks he gets to chase the light around the house. It gets dark so early now, that I use the flashlight when we go outside to pee. They have imaginary friends in the dark to chase. I turn on the flashlight section and he starts looking for the green pointer.

And now I see they are $69 on Amazon Prime for Black Friday. I can't justify another one...

$69? Apparently Olight, and Fenix, have good discounts around every holiday.

It's not a light I'd have 2 of, either.

My 8 and 10 year old grandkids "discovered" the laser feature in spades yesterday when they were at my house. They were funnier than watching pets chasing the light 😬

EDIT to add:

They both had peanut butter sandwiches for lunch, pretty rare, and had PB all over their lips and cheeks. I told them to clean up before we played some games because it was raining. I then took the UV light and shined it on their faces. There was PB all over the place; you couldn't just see. The UV light doesn't lie :ROFLMAO:

Try it! LOL
