my new SR 1911

Just bought the Aluminm frame SR 1911. What a beautiful piece of workmanship. Almost hate to shoot it. Perfect size for me between full size and subcompact 45 cal's. Love to post a pic but can't figue out how to do t.

I ended up putting one on layawake a week ago or so. They are nice with the thin grips and the fact Ruger grooved the front of the frame.

Congrats on your purchase and enjoy. Fantastic 1911. I've never been a big fan of aluminum frames on a 1911 though, so I'd prefer the CMD with the all SS frame.....
