That is outstanding! I noticed no cylinder turn marks but what looked like some marks on the hammer and some wear on the barrel tip. Do you know if the gun was actually fired?

Good one Ron! Now, if it gets tired of being a loner in a safe full of DA's,,, it can move to a warmer climate in NC easily.

jimd441; If you handle an OM SA properly, it will not get a cylinder turn line.

Nice catch! Of course it could go just a little south and not have to put up with that LONG trip to NC. It could fit on the shelf along side a brother flatgate here. :D :D

Hi Nice find looks like the previous owner took very good care of it as many of these that I own ones like that always call to me to take them home :) :) Congratulations

From examining it, it might have been handled a bit (that shows up on the grip frame) and in an out of a holster (the rub on the front of the barrel) but the cylinders and the barrel are pretty much pristine. If it was fired it wasn't much and the story behind it is that the previous owner was obsessed with keeping it looking like new, as he was with all his guns.

Either way, it's a great gun to add to my SA collection (I'm up to 6 Ruger SA's and 1 Colt SA-a 1958 Frontier Scout .22lr in the duotone finish)

And sorry, it's not going anywhere else to live. I will take it to show people (OGCA and the East Coast Gathering and maybe Tulsa).
