My new 1911 is going back to Ruger

Hope everything is taken care of. If it ain't hold their feet to the fire. I wonder if it will shoot differently (better or worse?) since they replaced all that.

Crazy isn't it. It should be flawless now. Sounds like they repaired just about every major external part.

I don't necessarily agree with that. I searched online for "Ruger SR1911" before I purchased it and read every online review and all of the YouTube reviews out there. I discovered some problems with early models and the grip finish, frame rust issues from years ago. Did not find anything else that would have made me cautious about buying a new model in 2016. I am not unhappy at this point. I honestly enjoy the handgun and I think that Ruger reworked it to be closer to perfect. Time will tell.
