I just picked it up. Seems nice and well built. Havent put any gauges or anything to it but i dropped a .430 sized boolit through all chamber throats with ease. Gonna load some tonight and hopefully test tomorrow.

Keep us posted on its accuracy Joe. I have one on the way but won't be reloading for it until probably next fall.

very nice, good choice, i have one also and all 5 cylinders measured .431with pin gages so you should be good to go.

Took it out today to try it out. I'm a poor shot and the gun did really well so I bet in capable hands, it would probably shoot a ragged hole.

My loads were 7.5 grains of Unique with either a 240 SWC or the new Mihec 44 Terminator which casts about a 235 gr bullet with the large hollow point pins. Add a little powder coat and I'm right at 240 gr. Range was at 20 yards.

This photo shows about what my sight picture looks like at 20 yards so it is shooting to the front sight. That big ol fiber optic sight is not my first choice.

Hope mine does as well! Awesome variation of a fine revolver. Thanks for the update. By the way.....how was your trigger as far as gritty/creep? My 3 inch felt custom tuned out of the box but the blue 5 incher was somewhat gritty.

It's not gritty, but it is heavy in double action. Single action has a little bit a creep but is not bad

The fiber optic messes me up group shooting. My eyes jump back and forth. It isn't as bad shooting offhand. I'm not a very good offhand shooter so I just concentrate on the dot. I have a 3". Nice pics.

Looks Great. love Blued Guns. (own several Stainless) In face I bought an older Interarms .44 Mag off you.

Funny you mention that. I was going through some stacks of paper that was laying on top of my safe today and I found the FFL and your information from that deal.

Picked mine up yesterday. Single action, lots of creep and grit. Double action is reasonable.

I picked one up yesterday and am generally pleased with it. I installed some nice grip panels and a Bowen RC rear sight. It shoots and looks great. The trigger is not too bad - a little creep in SA, but breaks nicely. DA trigger pull is smooth, but a little heavy.

Has anyone weighed the 5" 44? Haven't seen a weight listed. Just curious.

What a nice looking sixgun!
I think those groups would get the job done.

I shot it about 50 times today at 50 yards. Resting my forearms on my knees and shooting double action, i could consistently ring the 12" gong. Far from precise but I'm tickled. The sights need slight adjustment too. I was having to aim right and down a little bit. I left my screwdriver set at the house so i was having to use KY windage. :)

I love it tho. I only had 100 rounds loaded so i probably wont shoot it much until the house is built and i can set my bench back up.

Just ordered one of these, cannot wait to shoot it. My 3" had some issues but Ruger got them all worked out and now its a fun, good shooting revolver.

They are great! As soon as I can I am going to try and get the new half lug model. If that one shoots as good as this one, I'll sell this one and keep the half lug.
