no , this is not an alternate universe posting...
oddly enough its a ruger i never intended to buy or even knew existed...
a friend needed money for a 1911 and asked me if i'd be interested in a ruger 22 he had , nib...
its an NR-4F-50 short barrel fixed sight blued SS...
daaammm , does this little sucker shoot!
timing is spot on , no dragmarks or peening , sights are straight , trigger is good , etc...
so whats the downside ?
ok , the locating holes in the grips were way oversized making the grips impossible to tighten down properly..
about 3 minutes and some small strips of duct-tape around the pin fixed that...
this is now my only remaining ruger , but damm! , its a good one...
they can do it right (at least they did in 2003...)
