While I admire the craftsmanship that went into it, I feel it's ridiculous in practical terms. Of course, I could say the same thing about choppers generally.

Shoot, I like it. You can always stick the pistola in your belt when you leave the bike. This is just a modern twist on the old saddle-holsters from back when a "horse-pistol" really was...

As KWYJIBO wrote, some do not like these styles of bikes. I must admit that some, specifically the "Orange County Choppers" radically almost unrideable type are not my cup of tea either. I also agree that one would likely get unwanted attention if to ride this in public. We also must understand that a large part of these bikes do not get ridden much. Except for perhaps in a television skit, they sit somewhere either in a shed or on display. They are mostly excercises in art and/or engineering and are mostly just for us to look at and say......something opinion oriented, which we have! :)

Exactly. They seem like a lot fun to design, build, stare at, polish, and ride occasionally for short distances. They're not very comfortable, efficient, or even safe to ride, but hey--they make you look real cool.

I prefer a much more practical motorcycle.

As far as style of bike....I figure you can look as dumb as you want as long as I cant hear ya.
Last year the police really started enforcing the muffler DB ordanance.
The courts were full and the city made alot of money for awhile. But at least its quieter and the choppers dissapeared.
