Mosquito Trap

I have one. They catch a lot of mosquitoes but somehow you still get bit. Like I was attracting them to my yard. I gave up on it.

I started having my yard sprayed now we don’t get bit.

First time I've seen that one.
My question is how much propane does it use per hour?

I've used them medium/small bug zappers.
They are not super efficient, but the birds LOVE them.
They will congregate under the zapper each morning for the pre cooked bugs. :wink:

I think propane lasted a month. There is a filter that plugs up with pollen, and a bag that you either empty or throw away and replace. The power supply failed once and I replaced it. Other than that. I don’t remember any issues.

It would fill the bag with dehydrated mosquitoes but seemed like it never caught up. Maybe if everyone had one it would have been better, but I was the only one who had one in a swampy neighborhood.

I’m much happier with the spray service.

Does the spray target only mosquitos like some of the standing water poisons, or does it wipe out everything?

Supposed to be all natural. Smells like garlic for an hour or so. Was told just mosquitoes. I’m not sure if it kills them or drives them away. $400 for the year. I think six treatments. It doesn’t kill bees or dragon flies they are everywhere.

Before we were getting bit indoors they were so bad outside. Now we can sit outside and not be bit.

Mosquitoes controlling them is near impossible. I have tried all kinds of contraptions
over the years! I'm not getting sucked into another! Tiki torches with the right repellent
is as good as anything! ps

We used to sell them. Be sure to put it away from where you are going to be in your yard.

I have used bat boxes to attract bats on my lake house. They love the skeeters! Bat guano is good fertilizer.

I had bats for years and then I got a Dynatrap. I don't have mosquitoes any more and I don't have bats either.

I gave mine away. I had a mosquito delete-o.

I ran them. They seemed to break after putting them away for the summer. They would not start in the spring and they have a one year warranty. I was constantly hauling propane, attractant and buying supplies. I figured it cost me a dime a mosquito. I gave up and now have my yard sprayed for mosquitos and am much happier. Costs me $300 per year and no mosquitos.

Bats have some kind of disease in these parts the population took a big hit. Has to do
with a spot on their nose. Anyway bats have been scarce lately. ps
