morning coyote hunt

My son, son-in-law, grandson and I went out to try to fool a coyote this morning. SIL shot this female with his AR. I called her up with a 35 year old Circe Wild Call, still working after all these years. We called up but missed another one. Got action on 2 of 4 stands, not bad for 72 degree weather.

Do they stink? The ones around here stink so bad you can hardly stand near em, much less hold them.

Yeah they'll sometimes come to a call even midday, but early and late is usually better.

I was out hiking/hunting this PM, and came across a good coyote decaying into the forest mulch. :mrgreen:
