The light snow and ice that we got a couple days ago is about gone. Another front is supposed to be here Friday with 3-6" of snow. Meanwhile , the animals are enjoying the 28* day we are having. Single digits tonight. The deer are here daily, just a little earlier today than normal. So far 16 have came out into our field and/or backyard. Our record is 36 at one time.

The high winds are blowing the snow over the walkway, driveway and road. The door cam alarm was going off all night. When I checked on phone it was snow blowing around setting it off. Looked like a blizzard. Now it looks like it snowed again but it's just blown snow.
I left very late for work yesterday and will probably not leave until 0800 today. Yesterday when I walked out of the house the deer started coming out of the woods walking towards me......not sure if they wanted a handout or a ride. The birds are going through seed and suet like piranhas on a side of beef. 18 degrees but the wind chill makes it feel like 0 degrees. Snow was typical looking when it first fell.....now it looks like a white desert with the blowing and reshaping it. Its frozen crunchy. Hard to believe the wind is shaping it like this.

One of the local bucks that comes by my trail camera on an almost nightly basis showed up a few nights ago with his antlers missing. Seems early to drop. This year he was a very nice 8. Hoping to see what he carries next year.
