MK III Hunter

Which barrel length do you guys prefer on a MK III Hunter, a 6-7/8 barrel or a 4.5 barrel?

I have all three barrel length Mark III Hunters in stainless, 6 7/8", 5 1/2 (Talo Exclusive Model) and the 4 1/2". I prefer the 6 7/8" barrel myself, as It balences nicer for me. If you check the Ruger website, they are not making the 4 1/2" model anymore in stainless.

Yes, I noticed that they are only making the 6-7/8 length models, If only I can find the 5.5 barrel that would nice!

They are listed at Davidsons (#10125), but they do not have any in stock. You might call them to check availability.

I just saw one (NIB at a dealer table) at a gunshow a couple of weeks ago, so I am sure they are still out there.

I saw the MK III Hunter with the 4.5 barrel at my LGS, but I hesitated since everybody I ask likes the 6-7/8 barrel, maybe I'll just buy the one with a 6-7/8 barrel.
