Found a couple Ruger products at a garage sale today. These sights appear to be off a MKII of some generation, but I am totally unfamiliar with these pistols.

Basically, I bought them figuring someone would want them, but in order to properly put them on the for sale area I'd like to at least get the proper generation and value.

Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like the “Target Model” sights to me. There’s many others here that know more than I do so hope they chime in soon.

Just for kicks …. Are they on the ShopRuger.com web site?

Hello,
The rear sight is a standard Mark II adjustable Target Model sight; that front sight appears to be the narrow sight used on Government Competition Target models. If I had to guess, I would surmise that someone removed the sights on a Competition Target Model to install either a scope or some kind of a red dot sight.

Year shouldn't matter since I believe this type was the same through the MKII series except maybe some of the late ones. Just state they're for the 5.5" barrel when advertising.
