I think it was some of the Olympics that I happened to see when flipping channels. Two supposed women boxing and one of them took one punch to the nose and that was it for her, she quit. Her reason, it hurt. I think she's in the wrong profession. Her opponent I guess was one of those either/or woman or man people. What a bunch of nonsense.

If I were into a sport,, and it was normally a sex specific type of sport,, I'd expect to participate against the same sex opponents. If I was to go against a person claiming to be something other than how they were born as,, (remember,, God doesn't make mistakes,) I'd politely decline & file a protest. I may not get to play the sport,, or I may upset a percentage of the people, but I'd stick by my ethics.
A male born individual,, competing in a boxing match as a woman against women is NOT fair. They have divisions & weight classes to allow for more "equal" competition. They need to have specific gender classes if they want to continue being considered "fair."

For the first time in my life I haven't watched a minute of the Olympics as a result of hearing about and then seeing on the news, the opening. The boxing match doesn't surprise me at all in this twisted woke world. I do feel for the female boxer as she has likely spent a lifetime in preparation for this Olympics.

So you think a woman shouldn't cry when a man hits her? What an idiot.
Hey idiot, in the sport of boxing, the idea is to hit your opponent in the face hard enough to knock them out. As far as I know, there is no crying in the sport of boxing, especially Olympic boxing. If she was stupid enough to get into the ring with a man, then she deserves it.

Besides, he/she didn't appear to be larger or heavier than her. She just couldn't take a solid punch in the nose. As I said before boxing was not her sport. She lasted a few seconds in the fight. Two punches was enough for her.

Wow..........just wow (n)

Yep, You Guys need to do a little research about her before making the stooopid statements. For one she was crying because of letting down her family not just because of the pain from a broken nose.

Who is Angela Carini?

The 25-year-old Carini competes in the 66-kilogram (145.5-pound) class, otherwise known as welterweight. She won silver medals at both the world and European championships in 2019.

She was also a gold medalist at the European youth championships. She lost her opening fight in Tokyo.

Carini's nickname, "tiger," was given to her by her father, Giuseppe.

What's her background?
Carini was an Italian champion in clay pigeon shooting before she switched to boxing. She made the switch to follow her brother, who also left shooting for boxing.

Hey, never said it was fair. The thing is that she knew who her opponent was and she still stepped in the ring with him/her. What did she expect? Totally unfair to her. As long as women put up with guys competing with them it's going to continue to happen. If they refuse to compete then there goes everything they've worked for all their life. What do you expect them to do? Right now, it would seem that the deck is stacked against them.

In the beginning of the year, I think I remember us saying that we were going to be considerate to each other (or something of that sort)..... Looks like we made it about half-way. Howzzabout we rekindle our new year resolution starting now....???
Si/No ?

I’m confused and the more I read I get more confused,I think I’m stoopid, if I read correctly both opponents were born biological female, the one people are saying is a man is actually a female with maybe a medical (condition) that causes her to produce excess testosterone

Italian girl trap and skeet shooter is someone the 2A world should understand a little.
I bet anti gun political climate and harassment effected her & her brother sport change. Sad if something like that happened.
The trans needs a beat down

Its my understanding that this person and another from tokyo both have medical conditions that cause excess testosterone (super high levels) which cause them to have physical characteristics of men: Denser muscle mass in the upper body, larger lung capacity resulting in increased stamina. Both of them were banned by the International Boxing Org because of this but the "feel good" Olympics said "why not"

Yeah, something like that is the way I understood it.

It looks like the Algerian and the Taiwanese boxers are both XY males genetically according to this article:

They may have some form of AIS, but I don't think they have complete AIS, so will have an advantage due to testosterone:

This is a long but interesting study:

More interesting stuff on this. although it is an older article:

In Thailand, where they have lots and lots of 'ladyboys', they can fight Muay Thai, however, they have to fight men. Even if they have had surgery for a full sex change, born a man, fight men. Nong Toom has been champion of several different leagues fighting men.

Those AIS people need to be turning logs and stacking cross ties at a sawmill. Not boxing. Years ago my Father would have been proud to have them work for him at his mill. Instead I had to do it. Learned a lot and put on some extra muscle. Once saw a guy stacking lumber whipped with a live snake. Tough bunch.

Girls born with XY chromosomes are genetically boys but for a variety of reasons – mutations in genes that determine sexual development – the male characteristics are never expressed. They live their lives as girls and then women, and a few can even give birth.

Not quite, but you are close.

Problem is they do not have a greater bone density ,lung capacity and skeletal strength which leads to severe injury when competing with men.
Alot more than just here we are now compete
