A good reason to be careful when you pick up brass. Never seen that before. :D

I have two pieces of .45 ACP brass that has a step inside like that but not as drastic a step. I saved them to give to a collector friend but he has passed. I can go get the head stamp and report if anyone wants to know what it is. They are the first I had ever seen.
