Just sent a e-mail off to Gallagher regarding an action job on the Bisley-ized maximum. Hopefully it's not a long turn-around for the simple stuff. Now to see what Klamath River has for some nice grips. 8)
Been a long time sitting idle but a bit of cash in hand told me to get it done.

John's Bisley Maximums look good... He made this one a Bisley and a 445...

Nice, Axe! I've always had this "thing" for the .357 Maxi. Oh, sure, I wandered off toward the .40 Caliber and larger gang, but I still like those most interesting .35 cal. New Models......... :D

Methinks I'll eventually have to have one converted to a .445 Bisley, given my affinity for that bore size.

Here is another one of John's gun. It was one of his early 445 conversions. He made three of them like this one, one went to Ashley Emerson, one to Penn Baggett, and the third he kept. It now resides in Kansas :) Neat boomer and its built right! I think he used the front sight base from a Dakota rifle on these. He used this one to take several Caribou and a bunch of Southern whitetails in TX and AL. Need to get a better picture of this one some day....

Yo Zeus! Send that gun back to Jasper.. I'll pick it up my next visit! :P
You been down and made your mark on my S&W barreled 1.4 inch 41 mag Bisley and 7.5 Octagon 475? :D
Can't decide what to turn John loose on next... Could be a full up 414 on the Max that Robb gave me... Might just get him to Bisleyize the 357 Max and give it a good action and trigger job...

I may be down that way before long. If I do and the parts are still there, I'll doll it up a little for you. Did you ever find my initials in the last one?????

Still haven't heard from Mr Gallagher. Hoping he's just busy working on other fine revolvers or relaxing rather than any health issues.

He's doing well, just talked with him yesterday afternoon. I know that he lost his phone for a few days and may have had a few issues with the email cause one that I sent never made it late last week. Could have been my server though so who knows. But, if you just sent it this week, give it a few days, I know that he is really busy this week. GS

So long as he's well. Give it a few days and then try the phone thing as outdated as it is.

Hate being the stutterer but I sent off another e-mail inquiry. Just having the go to finally get this done and I don't want to loose the initiative.

Thinking I found the grips I want too. :)

FWIW some fine grips come out of John's shop too... He fitted micarta to my 500L and will do the same for my 475.. Check it out...
