Has anyone installed a Galloway trigger package on their Max 9? Did it make any noticeable difference?

Yes, I did. It got rid of the long slack in the trigger. I like it.
You have to get used to making sure you release it enough to reset, but it improved my trigger quite well.
It's not hard to do, but if you install it yourself be very mindful of how the stock trigger comes apart if you think you might need to revert it back to stock. My trigger spring popped off and the trigger came apart and I'm afraid that I'll need to send it back to Ruger to switch it back if I need to...

I put the Galloway trigger shoe into mine. I like it. The hardest part of the whole process was finding my 1/8" pin punch. I couldn't, so I bought a new one. I found the one I was looking for later that day when I went to shoot the pistol. I had left it in my range bag. Now if I just knew why it was in there.
