I've pounded my sight base, but am having no luck getting it to move. The set screw is out and I have oiled through the hole. Is there a tool that would work with the round barrel to press the sight out? (I've seen sight tools online but they appear to work with rectangular slides not round barrel as on this gun) Or any other ideas on how to make it move?

must clamp the gun in a "padded" vise, has to be "firm" as to NOT absorb the impact of any hammer strikes.........use a BIG enough hammer, and a "non metallic " drift ( punch) and hit it firmly, squarely and it will slide out.
Teeny ,tiny little love taps will NOT "break it loose", nor will holding on ones lap while trying to do this, will not work either.......
'Kroil' works about the best for any 'pre-soak'..............careful and take your time, neatness counts....

I got it. I was using a rubber mallet and switched to a heavier hard plastic hammer that had no give to it. I laid the gun on edge with just the barrel of gun on the edge of a block of oak which in turn was on a cement floor then hit sight with hard mallet and wood dowel. Gun placed so only barrel against the wood and the handle not against anything to prevent damage.
