Mark III Discontinued Models

Anybody else looked on Ruger's website and noticed they discontinued several models of the Mark IIIs? Mark III Hunter with a 4 1/2" barrel in stainless as well as all the 22/45 stainless models are not being produced. I called Ruger, the models not listed on the website are considered discontiued (not to mean they may bring them back out).

I spoke with a large Ruger dealer today that told me they are going to make some changes to the Mark III 22/45 in stainless and then reintrodure them. Most likely the finish will be target grey instead of satin stainless. Maybe some other subtle changes. The same dealer said the are more new guns coming from Ruger![/quote]

Yes, there's more coming. Mentioned it before; Ruger's sales dept wants a new model to introduce for every major show (SHOT, NRA, etc)

I've heard the same information, there will be more new guns and new models/finishes of the MKIII.

The stainless hunter with the 4 1/2" barrel has been discontinued. The dealer exclusive on the Ruger website is a blued version.
