Mark III Competition

New Mark III, Looking to add red dot scope the pistol comes with Weaver style mount, most of the scopes I see are for Picatinny mount. Any suggestion? Never added a scope to a pistol, this might seam elementary to most.

I may be wrong, google it and see. But, I believe that Picatinny railed items will not fit on a Weaver rail, but most Weaver items will fit on a Picatinny rail. Or, is it vice versa?

If you can't find what you want to fit the weaver, look at this one on shopruger. It says it doesn't fit MK1 and MK2 but doesn't mention the MK3. I would call Ruger to find out for sure before i ordered.
