Mark III bolt installation

Can not install the bolt in my Mark III.
Hammer is down. Hammer strut correct location, Bolt stop is down.
All conditions are as per Ruger instructions and on UTube.
The bolt inserts about half way then hits solid stopping point.
This happened once before then the bolt suddenly dropped in. Will not now!!!!!

Don't know about the Mark III because I've never laid hands on one, but on the first generation and the Mark II, I have the bolt in the receiver and the hammer up before joining the upper and lower. Never had a problem in 50 years.

Is the mag disconnect in the Mark III somehow hanging it up?

Is the rear screw on top of the receiver protruding down into the receiver?

Got the bolt installed back in place.
On top of the bolt there is the ejector(?) rod enclosed in a spring.
The rear end was slightly offset to one side, I guess accidently.
After I aligned it the bolt dropped in okay!!!!
Hard to believe that this was the cause of the problem, but I will accept it for now.
