Mark II Bolt Material

I have a S.S. Mark II with a nick on the bolt face. It looks like it was caused by the bolt catch lever, but I'm not 100% sure. Anyway, I'm thinking that I can find someone to micro-weld it and then I can do the work to return it to normal, but I believe that I need to know the exact material before they will weld it. Can anyone tell me the material used for a Mark II S.S. bolt?

I would contact Ruger they might replace it ? Don't Know but possible.

I just checked and even if Ruger doesn't replace it, the price isn't too bad.
