So let me state this ahead of time. I have re-assembled these plenty of times. I have consumed every Google item regarding this subject known to man over many hours (same as youtube).
I've put the MSH in and messed with the strut, sideways, upside down, on one foot, and while singing Mary Poppins.
Now, with that said:
The MSH/Strut engage properly in these situations:
- Put together in the frame (upper not on yet).
- Put together completely, but without the bolt carrier.
Trigger will cock completely and fire correctly in these situations.
However, once I add the bolt carrier to the equations I am stuck with a half cock.
I am sure you are use to people complaining about this but I will gladly provide video footage of me assembling to squash the usual "did you try this method/angle/direction yet?"
Is there any known issue with some sort of broken part or bolt carrier issue with these pistols?
----
Edit for further clarification.
The strut is NOT getting caught behind the cross pin.
Ive used the "towards the sky" dangle method.
I've used the flat on its top slightly up "align the strut with the third line on the MSG" method
I've used the "per instruction manual" method.
I've used the towards the ground "jingle jangle to make sure hammer is forward all the way" method.
I've used the "use a pencil or small punch to verify the hammer is all the way forward" method.
Did I miss anything yet?
