Anybody watch that new show ? It's got to be the stupidest show ever made. They come up with these ridiculous stunts and everybody knows the humans are never going to beat a bear at anything. The star bear is Bart, 1400 pounds of fur, teeth, claws and muscle.

One of the most ridiculous stunts was where they had a big steel cage ball and a man was inside the thing and big Bart was on the outside. The bear was pushing the ball and some how the man inside was supposed to push back against the bear. The man is inside the ball, what is he supposed to push on? It's like trying to push a car while you're sitting in it. The bear is standing on the ground outside and pushing on the ball.

I'd recommend that you not watch this show. It'll make you a little stupider for just watching it. Believe me, You'll lose some brain cells.

It's a cool way to show off Big Bart but the whole premise is just ridiculous.

Ya I unfortunately seen it! Lets just say I won't see it again. pretty bad.
That show will have a short run I guarantee it.
I will say tho, those bears are beautiful animals! ps

Before I was born I had a uncle who was a wrestler. I heard he had a bear he would wrestle at fairs and carnivals or whatever. He would also challenge to wrestle anyone in the crowd for a dollar a minuet. I heard he once was talking tough in front of grandma what he was going to do to someone. She said, What are you going to do when you meet Gott? He said, I will take care of him too! I heard he did get religion before he died.

My first thought was I want to challenge the bear in a "Lets see who can change a tire on my car the fastest". Didn't want to pick something outrageous like "Let's see who can prepare my taxes first". I agree, a stupid program.

Not a show I would watch but I did know of a man years ago that did wrestle a bear and won I even read the news clippings on the match. He lived just north of Albany NY both of his sons were wrestlers in college they owned a large pallet mill and for years loaded trucks by hand one tough family indeed.

The sorriest part is that somewhere a network spent MONEY on this!
Some individual, or even worse a committee, signed off on this.
And you know they were thinking that WE were all dumb enough to
actually watch it. Now I'll grant you I don't have the highest opinion of
the "public" in general, but on my most cynical day, I wouldn't choose to
broadcast this turd of a show.
Now if they wanted to film Bart eating a politician or two.
Dave

During that stupid eating contest, if you looked closely you could see the electric wire running between the contestants and the bear. It was a single wire ran on posts. You could see the insulators that held the wire. Of course most viewers would not even notice that wire.

Of course the premise of this show was that these daring contestants were putting their lives on the line just doing this show. What a crock ! I wouldn't doubt it that they might even have had a crane with a big net over the bears should they make any sudden wrong moves.

Couldn't agree with you more. I watched the first episode and feel like I've seen every episode they'll ever air. I won't be wasting another minute on it.

Hate to burst your bubble but I just saw a commercial advertising "an all new episode next Wednesday at 6". And no, I wasn't watching the first episode, I was watching a car fab show on Discovery.....

You misunderstood my meaning.

Well, I haven't seen it and probably wouldn't watch it but I'm hoping when the bear finally snaps and does what bears do that they put it on YouTube so we can all get a laugh...

Ok, I watched the new episode. I wanted to see what other stunts they could dream up for the bears. But, they used the same 6 stupid stunts, just different people.

That's definitely the last time I'll watch that.

I didn't bother to watch it. As I said last week, I feel like I've already seen EVERY episode. Only thing that will change is the humans' faces.
